"Heritage of Speed"
(1958)
by A. Laurro
This is a one of a kind hand formed aluminum and oak sculpture of the 250 TR measuring 70" long x 37" wide x 55" high. This quarter scale artistic representation of the 250 Testa Rossa was made entirely by hand using the same materials as the original car. The base is an abstract melding of a road into ribbon shapes that have the countries that the car raced in during 1958. If you look closely you'll notice the track plans and the corresponding country's flag. It is anchored and supported by a speed form pillar that has a checkered flag "ghosted" onto the aluminum surface.
